Transcript Editor Question

First of all, Praveen & Team, this new UX is smooth as butter and BEAUTIFUL! Thank you so much for your hard work in elevating the presence and appearance of Transcript.LOL. It’s an added bonus to software that I already loved.

Secondly, I like the new transcript editor but I find there’s an issue. I’m able to delete something from the transcript but the audio/video continues to read it. 🤔 I don’t know if this is intentional or not but with other software like Descript, when I delete words or sections from a transcript, it is also removed from the audio/video file.

Isn’t that the purpose of the transcript editor? Thank you very much for your response given this inquiry!
