I have installed the browser extension on my mobile that replicates an app, but I can't upload MP3 files. It says it's unsupported, I can on my laptop via Chrome though.
I should have been clearer, but I am refering to the mobile version of Chrome.
Though, the mobile site doesn't let me upload MP3 files either. I get an error about his the format isn't supported. The same file can be used from a desktop or laptop without issue.
Basically there's an issue with the site when used on a mobile.

Do you see the same problem when using directly in Mobile chrome app?

Yes, I cannot upload MP3’s either way.
The reason I would much rather upload MP3’s is because MP4 videos never player, and I have found using my desktop audio files works out better for playback. Plus I would imagine it would be better on the storage front.
