Google Sign-In for Mac App

I want to be able to use Google Sign-In on the Mac app just like I do on the web browser. Currently, it's not an option and it makes things harder because I have to set a separate password. It's important because the app is supposed to make things easier, not harder, and I don't want to worry about my workspace data.
